Situated on the eastern coast of the Isle of Wight, Sandown & Shanklin R.F.C. offers rugby at 1st, 2nd and Vets levels. With promotion gained by both 1st and 2nd teams during the 2008/09 season, the first XV will now play in London Division 3 South-West and the second XV in the Hampshire Senior Merit Table.

The Hurricanes' "Fairway Ground", one of the best facilities in Hampshire, provides its members and guests with the ideal venue for enjoyable and sociable rugby.

Players Meeting - All players from all hurricanes teams are requested to attend a club 'Meeting and Social' down at the club on Friday 10th July 7pm.

Training - Squad training begins again down at the club on Thursday 16th July..Starts promptly at 7.15pm.
Also Tuesday training on astro. Starting 21st July 7pm. Circuit and skills.
